A home made Italian meal

Welcome back to my blog!

Today I'm writing a blog post about my personal favorite Italian recipes. I love going to a restaurant, but I also think it's fun to try to make your own favorite food! This is all for 3 to 4 people

Aperitif snack

I love bruschetta to start a meal, it's very light, but it has a strong taste to it. This is how I make bruschetta!

6 medium sized tomatoes
Turkish bread (With bruschetta I prefer Turkish bread because it's softer and it works great if you toast the bread in a pan)
A hand full of Basil
2 Garlic cloves
Olive oil

Stationery haul

Today I'm doing a stationery haul. School has started again, and some nice new stationery always makes school, work or any other education more fun. Last school year I finished high school, and this year I'm doing a visual arts study. Of course, I need some new school supplies for my study. I hope this blog post gives you a little inspiration and ideas for your own stationery collection.

Reviewing the Origins high potency night-a-mins

Today I am doing a review on the Origins high potency night-a-mins mineral enriched renewal cream. That's a whole mouth full I know... haha. I was on vacation, and I dropped my bottle of argan oil, leaving me with a lot of mess and me having to get a new night cream or oil. So when I was in Stockholm, I saw the Origins high potency night-a-mins. And I had heard a lot of great things about it! I didn't buy it in Stockholm because I wasn't so sure about it, and it is pretty expensive for a night cream. Back in Holland, I read some reviews about it, and I decided to buy it anyway. I wasn't sure if I  wanted the normal version or the oil free one, so I went to try it out in the store. I've got oily skin so I thought it would be better to buy the oil free night cream. But I tried them out, and I ended up liking the normal one better. It's not too heavy and your skin absorbs it quickly. The oil free one seemed a little too light for a night cream.

The first thing I noticed was the scent. It really smells like oranges. It's not my favorite scent for a night cream, this is the only thing I dislike about the High potency nigh-a-mins. But... besides that, I absolutely LOVE this night cream. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now, and my skin has calmed down after having some trouble areas on my cheeks. I was really scared this cream would break me out because of some of the reviews I read. But luckily it didn't It actually helped my skin to clear up! What I also love about it is that

Stockholm diaries

Hello, and welcome back to my blog!

Today I am doing a post about Stockholm! I went there this summer with my brother and my father. We wanted to go to a European city, and we wanted to go to Scandinavia, so we randomly choose Stockholm! Not knowing what an amazing city it is.

So we flew to Stockholm on the 23rd of Juli, with SAS airlines. And we arrived at the hotel at about 01:30 AM. We had a few hours of sleep and had some breakfast. We had already planned out what we wanted to do the whole week, so for the first day, we went to the old town: Gamla stan.

I personally think Gamla stan is

My bullet journal setup

Hello, and welcome back to my blog! for today's post I'm going to talk about a planning system called bullet journaling. So what is a bullet journal? Basically, it's a planner/journal which you draw from scratch. You can use any journal you want, but a dotted journal is the best because it gives you guidelines. Hense the name because of the little 'bullets.' I really love the bullet journal system because you can add anything you want into your journal, you can completely customize it, and it keeps your life really organized. Everyone can have a bullet journal. You can make it minimalistic, or you can add a lot of details to your bullet journal. So let's get into my bullet journal setup!
(A quick disclaimer: I made the following pictures a while ago, so the content is not completely up to date. I'm Dutch, so not everything in my bullet journal is in English)

I use the most popular journal, it's just very convenient, I use the
Leuchtturm 1917 A5 dotted journal.

So the first page is your index, the Leichttrum 1917 has numbered pages so you can fill in your index,

A guide to 100% natural beauty

Hi everybody and welcome back to my blog!

Today I'm going to talk about natural beauty/natural skincare. In the past 10 years, the beauty industry has exploded. The amount of products on the market can be really overwhelming. Maybe we should go back to the basics. A lot of people have serious skin issues. And they visit dermatologists or spend a lot of money on skincare that doesn't work even though the brand promises that all your skin care problems will fade away overnight. The beauty industry can be really ugly... a lot of brands use harsh chemicals in their products,

Reviewing eyeshadow palettes

Welcome back to my blog!
For post number 4, I'm doing a review on three eyeshadow palettes. I use and enjoy eyeshadow every day. So let's get into the review!

1) Too faced natural eyes palette

I've had this palette for about half a year now, and I use it almost every day. It's perfect for an everyday look. The shadows are splendid in my opinion, they are very pigmented, and they blend out very well. Even the light shimmery shade (Silk Teddy) shows up, without using water or a setting spray to intensify it. I do know there have been some issues with Too Faced eyeshadows being a little hit or miss per palette, but my palette is fine.

I also really like the packaging, it's sturdy, and it has a good mirror inside.
